I think it adds SO much extra flavor. If you don\u2019t have to brown your meat, you can throw it into the slow cooker raw and your stew will still be delicious.<\/li>\n<li>I typically buy a package of beef stew meat, but you can also purchase a chuck roast and cut it into cubes.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019ll want to cut your veggies on the larger side, that way they won\u2019t get mushy from cooking all day
