Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (cooled)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray or light oil for air frying

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potato Mixture
  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
  2. Scoop out a spoonful and roll into a ball (about 1 inch). Repeat with all the mixture.
Step 2: Bread the Balls
  1. Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  2. Place on a tray while you preheat the air fryer.
Step 3: Air Fry
  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Lightly spray the basket with oil.
  2. Place the balls in a single layer. Spray tops with oil and air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
