Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed potatoes (cooled)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- Cooking spray or light oil for air frying
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Potato Mixture
- In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
- Scoop out a spoonful and roll into a ball (about 1 inch). Repeat with all the mixture.
Step 2: Bread the Balls
- Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place on a tray while you preheat the air fryer.
Step 3: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F). Lightly spray the basket with oil.
- Place the balls in a single layer. Spray tops with oil and air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy.
