What you need

Eggs

Small oven-safe dish or ramekin (ceramic, glass, or silicone)

Hot water (just boiled)

Non-stick spray or a little oil
Method

Preheat air fryer to 180°C / 350°F for 3 minutes.

Lightly grease the ramekin.

Crack 1 egg into the ramekin.

Carefully pour in hot water until the egg is just covered.

Place the ramekin in the air fryer basket.

Cook 6–8 minutes, depending on how you like your yolk:

6 min → runny
-
7 min → jammy
-
8 min → fully set

Lift egg out with a slotted spoon and drain briefly.
Tips for best results

Use hot (not cold) water – it cooks more evenly.

If making more than one, use separate ramekins.

Silicone cups work great and are easier to clean.

Season after cooking (salt can make whites cloudy).
