Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- 2 lb (900 g) chicken wings, split into drumettes and flats
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free, optional, for extra crispy skin)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika or cayenne (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil.
- Mix the baking powder (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Coat the wings evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes.
- Flip the wings and cook for another 10–12 minutes, until golden brown, crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- For extra-crispy wings, cook an additional 2–3 minutes.
