Sweet, savory, and perfectly flaky, this Air Fryer Maple Glazed Salmon is coated in a rich maple-Dijon glaze and cooked to tender perfection in under 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (5–6 oz / 140–170g each)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Prepare the salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush the tops and sides generously with the maple glaze.
- Air fry: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on) in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Brush with the remaining glaze during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
- The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve with lemon wedges.
Tips
- Thicker fillets may need an extra 1–2 minutes of cooking time.
- Avoid overcrowding the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Line the basket with perforated parchment paper for easier cleanup if desired.
- For extra caramelization, brush on an additional layer of glaze just before serving.
