Making Hard Boiled Eggs in the Air-Fryer is my favorite way to make eggs.
I eat an egg just about every day, and I always add an egg to my salad. I found an easy way to make hard-boiled eggs in my air fryer. No more having to wait for the water to boil. Just place the eggs in your air-fryer, and in only 17 minutes, you’ll have hard-boiled eggs. Once you make them in the air fryer, you won’t want to make them any other way.
This simple no-boil method is also great for meal prep. I make a batch of six eggs and store them in the refrigerator for a quick breakfast, a protein snack, or to add to my salads.
Air-Fryer
Depending on your air-fryer and how you prefer your yolk, you may need to adjust your cooking time. I cook mine for 17 minutes. If you would prefer your yolk to be softer, you may try cooking it one to two minutes less.
Does the Brand of The Air Fryer Matter?
The brand of the Air Fryer will most likely make a difference in the timing. If your Air Fryer doesn’t go down to 250° Fahrenheit, set it to the lowest setting. This is the Air Fryer I had when I made this recipe. If your air fryer doesn’t go lower than 300°F, set it to 300°F and adjust the time accordingly. I would start with 11 – 13 minutes. I now have a Ninja Air Fryer, and the settings do not go as low as my original one. The lowest will reach 300°F.
Ice Bath
Adding hard-boiled eggs to a bowl of ice is a must. This stops the cooking process, making peeling the eggs much easier.
