This is a delicious air fryer hamburger recipe with garlic aioli. It is fast and something that your entire family will enjoy on those busy weeknights.

I love a good juicy burger. They are an all-time classic American dish that everyone should know how to make.
They go by beef burgers, ground beef sandwiches, beef patties, and hamburger patties, but no matter what you call them they’re all delicious! This dish takes the classic burger and steps it up.
It’s filled with flavors of garlic and onion and some spice from black pepper to help create a rich flavorful dish. This is the ultimate recipe, and if you have an air fryer, it will be super easy for you to follow.
This is one of those easy air fryer recipes that doesn’t take a lot of effort even if it’s your first time.
I love this dish because it takes just over 20 minutes to make from start to finish. It’s something I know everyone in the house will eat and can be made on a whim.
The garlic aioli sauce is a rich, creamy mayonnaise mixed with zesty lemon and a pinch of minced garlic, pairing nicely with the hamburger.
During the colder, winter months when my grill is full of snow, I like to make juicy hamburgers in my air fryer.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Hamburgers
Most of the items in this list are items you already have in your pantry and help give your burgers some extra flavor. The garlic aioli sauce is super easy to make with just 5 simple ingredients.

- Worcestershire Sauce

- Onion Powder

- Black Pepper
Garlic Aioli Sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Minced Garlic

How to Make Air Fryer Hamburgers
- In a large bowl, mix raw ground beef with all of the seasonings.
- Divide ground beef evenly into 4 balls.
- Form patties out of each ball that is about 1 inch thick, or use a burger press.

- To prevent the patties from bowing in the center as they cook, make a shallow well in the center of each patty by pressing with the back of a spoon or with your thumb.

- Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and the cook time for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip, and cook an additional 3-5 minutes until it reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit in the center. Add cheese slices and allow to melt for 1 minute.
- In the final minute, add a slice of cheese to melt on top of the patty.
- While it cooks, make garlic aioli in a small dish.
- Whisk together ingredients and serve on hamburgers with a toasted bun.
Doneness
Depending on how done you like your hamburger will depend on how long you need to cook the hamburger in the air fryer. For this recipe, I recommend a cooking time of five minutes on one side and flipping it for another three to five minutes.
This will cook it to an internal temperature of 160° F. If you want it done at another range, you can flip it every few minutes until you feel it is done. You can check the temperature regularly with a meat thermometer to ensure the proper temperature. Here is a guide you can follow:
Rare: 120-125 degrees Fahrenheit
Medium Rare: 130-135 degrees Fahrenheit
Medium Well: 150-155 degrees Fahrenheit
Well Done: 160-165 degrees Fahrenheit
Beef burgers always need to be cooked properly and, in many cases, should be cooked to 160°F. However, many people prefer a little lower temperature for a juicer hamburger. You pick the temperature that best suits your preferences.

Hamburger Toppings
These toppings add layers of texture and taste, creating a harmonious balance that elevates the classic hamburger into a flavorful and delicious burger. Here are some of my favorite toppings:
- Lettuce: Adds a crisp and refreshing texture.
- Tomato slices: Tomato slices on a hamburger contribute a juicy and refreshing burst of flavor.
- Onions (raw or grilled): Provides a savory and sometimes sweet flavor.
- American Cheese: Gives a melty and savory layer, enhancing the overall flavor with its creamy texture and rich taste.
- Bacon: Adds a smoky, salty, and savory flavor.
- Ketchup: A classic condiment for sweetness.
- Mustard: Adds a tangy and slightly spicy kick.
- Mayonnaise: Creamy and adds richness.
- Pickles or Relish: Sweet or dill can provide a zesty and crunchy element.
- Sautéed Mushrooms: Tender and flavorful, offering an earthy and savory profile.
- Avocado slices or guacamole: Creamy and adds a fresh flavor.
- Fried egg: Introduces a luscious and creamy element, with the runny yolk adding richness that complements the savory flavors of the beef.
- Barbecue sauce: Sweet and smoky flavor.
- Jalapeños: Adds heat for those who enjoy spice.
- Lettuce wraps: For a low-carb option, use lettuce instead of buns.
And don’t forget the garlic aioli sauce!

What To Serve With Air Fryer Burgers
One of the best things about making burgers for dinner is that you can easily make this a well-rounded meal. You can pair it with potato salad, sweet potato fries, fruit salad, baked beans, or coleslaw. Here are some of my favorite dishes that go really well with air fryer hamburgers.
- Air Fryer French Fries or Sweet Potato Fries: Classic and always a crowd-pleaser.
Onion Rings: They give a crispy and flavorful side to burgers.
Coleslaw: A refreshing and crunchy side that complements the richness of burgers.
Pasta Salad: Adding Zesty Italian pasta salad always pairs well with summer hamburgers.
Potato Salad: Creamy or vinegar-based, it’s a great cold side dish.
Grilled Vegetables: Seasonal vegetables like zucchini, bell peppers, and mushrooms make a healthy and flavorful choice.
Baked Beans: A classic comfort food made from a blend of beans, sweet and savory sauces, and seasonings, creating a hearty and satisfying dish.
Macaroni and Cheese: Creamy, comforting dish with macaroni pasta enveloped in a rich cheese sauce.
Side Salad: Fresh greens with your favorite dressing provide a lighter option.
Corn on the Cob: Grilled or boiled corn is a classic summer choice.
There are so many more dishes that will enhance your meal; it all depends on what you want. This dish is versatile because you can eat it by itself or with sides.
