🍤 Easy Air Fryer Shrimp
This easy air fryer shrimp recipe is ready in under 10 minutes! The shrimp are juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned—great as an appetizer, in tacos, over pasta, or on top of a salad.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The shrimp are done when they are pink and opaque.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and garnish with parsley before serving.
Flavor Variations
- 🧄 Garlic Butter: Toss the cooked shrimp with 2 tablespoons melted butter and 2 minced garlic cloves.
- 🌶️ Spicy Cajun: Replace the seasonings with 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning.
- 🍋 Lemon Pepper: Use 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning and finish with extra lemon juice.

Tips

- Frozen shrimp can be used; thaw and pat dry before seasoning.
- Smaller shrimp may cook in 4–5 minutes, while jumbo shrimp may need 8–10 minutes.
- Avoid overcooking, as shrimp become rubbery very quickly.
