🥔 Air Fryer Roast Potatoes
These air fryer roast potatoes are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and make the perfect side dish for almost any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) potatoes, peeled or unpeeled
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Cut potatoes into 1-inch (2.5 cm) chunks.
- Place them in a bowl of cold water for 20–30 minutes to remove excess starch (optional but helps make them crispier).
- Drain and pat completely dry with paper towels.
- Toss with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
- Arrange potatoes in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for 18–22 minutes, shaking the basket every 6–8 minutes.
- Cook until golden brown and crispy. Add an extra 2–5 minutes if needed.
